Meet Kristen McGullion! Kristen began her journey with Achilles 11 years ago this May as an Employment Coordinator and today serves as Vice President of HR Services and a key multidimensional contributor to our Executive team.
Kristen’s first job out of college was here at Achilles Group right after graduating from Texas A&M with a Human Resources Development degree. As the Employment Coordinator, she was actually placed onsite at the client’s headquarters where she managed everything from recruiting to policies and even terminations. After two years as the Employment Coordinator, she was then promoted to HR Generalist and eventually given more clients and client responsibilities as HR Director. One thing she is very proud of is the fact that she has worked at the same place for 11 years and has been an integral part of how Achilles Group has evolved today!
In her current role, as Vice President of HR Services, Kristen loves what a unique role she has where she gets to work with clients and be part of the management team. She works with our business development team and operations team where she is able to get an important perspective of what goes on in the entire business.

- Best HR advice: You can’t apply the same approach to every person and every situation. Everyone is different and everyone responds differently. You need to be empathetic in your approach and understanding of the response.
- Dream Dinner Guest: George Strait
- Superpower wish: Be able to predict the future! I’m such a planner, I would love to know what is going to happen next so I can plan for it.
- Typical weekend: My typical weekend is spent with my husband and our two daughters either visiting my family in West Columbia or spending time with friends. My oldest daughter, Kinlee, is five years old and our youngest, Hadley, is six months old. It makes life fun and busy!
