Achilles Group is a team of accomplished human resources professionals that have taken the concept of teamwork, and elevated it to the next level. While we are all HR generalists by trade, each of us specializes in an area of human resources expertise. We speak of ourselves as working stronger, smarter and faster as a team. It is this mentality that enables us to deliver superior human resources support and gives us the fluidity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and industries.
In late 2018, we set out on a journey to make some changes to our website, which included all new photography of our team. It had been quite a few years since we’d last taken headshots and team photos, and we really wanted to capture the Professionally Human essence of our staff with an updated, modern look. We’re a pretty fun group, and it was time to show the world (or at least the Houston area) who we are. When most people think of human resources professionals, the words “fun”, “sociable” and “upbeat” probably aren’t the first that come to mind, but that’s exactly who we are. We’re breaking the HR mold one client at a time by providing an exceptional human resources experience that far exceeds the traditional standards of our field.
We were able to tap into the creative expertise of our very own Jennifer Heylmun, who doubles as both our Business Development Specialist and in-house photographer. Having owned a photography studio for many years, Jennifer set up and coordinated a team photo shoot at Fill In The Blank studio in Houston, Texas this past fall. Several hours of shuffling around, sitting down, standing up, smiling and posing resulted in the colorful and personable photos that now adorn our Team page.
