Yes! My junior year I enjoyed a marketing class taught by a former VP of Marketing for RJ Reynolds. He knew both theory and practice and used many anecdotal stories from his real world business experiences. It has helped me think outside the HR box in many different scenarios. —Mark, HR Director No! My college classes and degree did not prepare me for my current career. Experience is the best way to gather skills for what I am doing. BUT – college did teach me discipline and tenacity. Persistence is my most important attribute in my current position. —
