Congratulations to Sr. HR Professional Monica Scott, the Achilles Employee of the Month!
Monica is known around the office as someone who can always bring a smile to your face with her fun-loving personality. Her clients consider her a trusted advisor and a valuable part of their team. With nine years of dedicated HR experience, Monica is also a mentor to some of our new team members.
With this honor, Achilles Group is donating $100 to Monica’s charity of choice: Cy-Hope.
“We have needs so close to home,” Monica said. “I think it’s important to help here and now.” Cy-Hope helps at-risk children in Cy-Fair ISD, the third-largest school district in Texas. Achilles Group’s main office is also located within Cy-Fair ISD.
We asked Monica to share a bit more about herself and her work. Here’s what she had to say:
- Favorite part of your job: Working with my clients on a variety of items and projects, feeling like part of their company, and helping them develop and grow their employees and their business.
- Best HR advice: Remain calm, smile and enjoy. Each day in HR is a fun adventure.
- Proudest moment: Proud of my thoughtful, hard-working clients (who are also my friends) who always try to do and be the best.
- Superpower wish: To fly.
- Houston favorite: Carmelo’s or Goode Co. Seafood.
